The tradition demanded that the Elder should address his first-born son first – and the Elder did so. He said, “Here, Abuhara, I am leaving already, so tell me your greatest wish.”
Then Abuhara said, “I want the whole estate.”
So the Elder pronounced his last words, “Abuhara, I am giving you my whole estate; and from this day on, you shall possess, together with this estate, also a gift: this is the gift of the world. It is called Ahovar Vala – which means “the gift named unhappiness.”
